8calc.com is built and maintained by Stanley King, a licensed Nevada real estate broker-salesman with over 23 years and almost 1,600 home closings in the Las Vegas metro. Every calculator on this site uses the same formulas that lenders, financial institutions, and medical professionals actually use — explained in plain English by someone who has watched real clients navigate these numbers at real closing tables.
The site exists because most online calculators are either inaccurate, buried under pop-ups and email forms, or written by people who have never used the math they are describing. Every calculator here is built the way I approach a real estate transaction: get the accurate number first, then explain what it means.

Every calculator on 8calc.com cites its sources and methodology. If you find a formula error, a factual mistake, or have a suggestion for how to improve an explanation, please reach out. Formula corrections are taken seriously and reviewed promptly — the entire point of the site is accuracy.

Calculator questions and general feedback: typically reviewed within 1–3 business days. Real estate inquiries for active buyers or sellers in the Las Vegas market: typically responded to within 24 hours during business days.

Who is behind this site
8calc.com is run by Stanley King, a licensed Nevada real estate Broker Salesman with eXp Realty, license number BS.0143719. He has worked the Las Vegas market for over twenty-two years and has sold almost sixteen hundred homes, around a thousand of them corporate-owned, investor-owned or bank-owned properties.
The financial calculators here - mortgage, loan, VA loan, Nevada relocation - draw on that work directly. The health and fitness calculators implement standard published formulas and are not offered as medical guidance of any kind; no one involved in this site holds a medical, nutrition or fitness qualification, and the relevant pages say so.
Getting in touch
If you have found an error in a calculation, please say so. Corrections are welcome and get fixed - a calculator that is quietly wrong is worse than no calculator at all, and the arithmetic on every page is published precisely so that it can be checked.
If you want to suggest a calculator that does not exist yet, that is also useful. Several pages here started as somebody's question.

What this site will not do
It will not ask for your email address to show you a result. It does not sell visitor data. It does not pass what you type into a calculator to anyone, because those figures are worked out in your own browser and are never sent to a server in the first place.
The site carries advertising, which is how it pays for itself. Adverts are labelled, kept out of the way of the calculators, and never dressed up to look like part of the content.
